Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

ScreenForge ("we", "our", "the Service") is a browser-based App Store and Google Play screenshot editor operated by UEDBOX. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Data We Collect

ScreenForge renders and exports screenshots locally in your browser. If you use the editor anonymously, your projects and assets never leave your device. If you sign in, the projects, screenshots, fonts, and other assets you upload are stored on the ScreenForge server operated by UEDBOX so they survive browser resets and sync across your devices — see section 4 for details. Rendering and exporting always happen on your machine, never on our server.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser localStorage solely to persist your editor preferences (theme, active project, undo history). We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or third-party advertising pixels.

4. Uploaded Files

When you are signed in, screenshots, custom fonts, and app icons you upload are saved to the server's filesystem under a per-account directory. Files are addressed by unguessable content-hash URLs, but they are not access-controlled: anyone who obtains the URL can download the file. Do not upload assets you are not comfortable storing on our server — anonymous use keeps everything in your browser. If you self-host ScreenForge, you are responsible for securing these files.

5. Third-Party Services

ScreenForge loads Google Fonts from fonts.googleapis.com when you select a Google-hosted font. Google's privacy policy applies to those requests.

If you purchase a Pro plan, your payment is processed by a third-party payment and billing provider on our behalf. Your payment details are handled by that provider under its own privacy policy, as presented at checkout, and we never receive your full payment card details.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your projects, screenshots, or uploaded assets with any third party. The only external requests the app makes are the Google Fonts downloads and (for paying customers) the payment flow hosted by our third-party payment provider, described in section 5.

7. Children's Privacy

ScreenForge is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
